microtechnology He made this presentation at the Spring Medical Device Technology conference held at the National Exhibition
Centre, Birmingham, in February 2000. It is undeniable that the combination of
microengineering, microelectronics and micro-'biotechnology' will produce some very exciting products over the next 5-10 years. Each stage in this process is like opening a door onto a landscape that very few have hitherto seen, so that suddenly, unimagined new things become possible.

The usage of the web-site continues to grow. The number of independent hosts
visiting the site has nearly doubled from August 1999 to 2,210 in February
2000. The site is becoming an
indispensable source of useful information and support.
