In September 2000 we launched the new Biomateria site, open to anyone with an interest in biomaterials, medical devices, tissue replacement and engineering, cell therapies, biomedical engineering, microtechnology and nanotechnology in medicine and other topics in healthcare and body repair that are even nearer the boundaries of the known and possible. Until May 2000, the site was supported by funding from the European Commission through the Brite-EuRam programme. Now it is a production of BioBridge Publications.
